Wilderness First Aid and
CPR Certification Course
What beekeeper has escaped the experience of a honey bee sting, or even many stings with varying degrees of response. We are happy to present our club member Chris Druschel, and Critical Care Paramedic and CPR certified instructor, in offering a course on Wilderness First Aid with an emphasis on effectively treating bee stings with non-prescription products. As an added benefit, he will conduct a second workshop leading to CPR certification.
The classes will be offered to Tri-State Beekeepers members only and held on Saturday, February 19 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Good Zoo Building in Oglebay Park. The tuition of $20 covers the cost of CPR certification. The club will provide a free box lunch although donations will be happily accepted. The course is limited to twenty-five participants with advanced registration required. Plan to take advantage of the program containing very pertinent and helpful information.
