The Highly Filtered Honey Story

This is from Vaughn M. Bryant, Professor at Texas A&M University, courtesy of Kim Flottum of Bee Culture magazine. It is about highly filtered honey and how it is impossible to tell where honey comes from once all of the pollen has been filtered out. He suspects the alot of honey is being imported from China, but since it is highly filtered we can't tell where it comes from.

Wax Moth Trap

The September issue of Bee Culture contains a very informative article on the control of the wax moth.  Among other measures discussed, the writer describes a wax moth trap that is very simple and may aid in the control of the moths/worms in stored boxes.
